What on earth is a ‘Cyber Rodeo’? - GovTech

Tesla is opening a new factory in Texas, and in true Tesla/Elon Musk fashion, they’re doing it in style. The CEO posted some photos and videos on Twitter earlier this week that hint at what “Cyber Rodeo” guests can expect. Without providing too much detail, they show the large facility decked out in fun light displays and car parts. He speculated that it might be “literally the biggest party on Earth.” The event, which is invite-only, is scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday, and Musk will address the crowd at 9 p.m. The facility itself, dubbed Gigafactory Texas, will be used to manufacture the Model Y compact SUV. The vehicles will be made with a new battery pack that will function as a structural component. Tesla also eventually plans to produce its long-anticipated cyber truck at the facility, eventually. pic.twitter.com/wvJ66Yr1Wj
